Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls National Park is a haven for birdlife, boasting over 400 different species. Hwange – Deteema

You can drive from Victoria Falls to Hwange or fly to Robins Camp

Deteema Springs is a small concession area in a well-known northern region of the Hwange National Park. Close to the Deteema dam, the camp is perched on a slight rocky rise above permanent water springs, offering magnificent views of large concentrations of animals, including elephants. While night safaris are not allowed due to park regulations, Deteema offers amazing opportunities for walking safaris and viewing wildlife from the comfort of the camp.

Deteema is a great location for birding, particularly for raptors and migratory birds. The area is known for its diverse birdlife, including the Carmine bee-eaters, Lesser spotted eagles, European honey buzzards, Rock kestrels, and various waders. Migratory birds are abundant from November to April. Deteema Springs is also known for its large concentrations of animals, including elephants, making it a popular spot for game drives and walking safaris.

Kariba – Musango

Fly from Robins Airstrip to Bumi Hills Airstrip.  You will be met and transferred by vehicle and then by boat to Musango.

Musango is an exclusive owner- operated camp on the shorelines of Lake Kariba, adjacent to Matusadona National Park, one of Zimbabwe’s premier safari destinations.
