Arrive in Livingstone via Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport

Activities:

• Visit Victoria Falls (Mosi-oa-Tunya – “The Smoke That Thunders”) on the Zambian side. The rainforest around the falls attracts species like Schalow’s Turaco, African Finfoot, and Trumpeter Hornbill
• Explore Livingstone town and local markets
• Evening sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River – watch for African Skimmer, Rock Pratincole (breeding on islands), and various herons and egrets along the riverbanks

Visit Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, upstream from the falls,

Upper Zambezi River Activities

• Full-day canoe safari on the Upper Zambezi – excellent for waterbirds and quiet wildlife viewing
• Tiger fishing excursion (catch and release)
• Island picnic lunch
• Birding from mokoro (traditional canoe) in quiet channels

Transfer to Simalaha is done by vehicle and boat
